On March 25, 2021, Cuiying Honors College held the 2019 Physics Cuiying Class Symposium in Classroom A314 of Tianshan Hall. Assistant President and Executive Dean of Cuiying Honors College He Deyan, Secretary of the Party Branch Huang Haifeng, Deputy Dean Wang Yongren, Teaching Secretary Yang Jiaxin, and classmates of 2019 Physics Cuiying attended the symposium.

At the symposium, the students shared their experience of studying and living in the Yuzhong campus, and discussed their ideas and put forward many constructive opinions on training programs, curriculum settings, student activities, scientific research training, and credit conversion. The college leaders and teachers answered the doubts of the students one by one.

He Deyan put forward several wishes to the students. One is that he hopes that the students will have a firm belief in basic subject research, pay more attention to basic subject research in the "stuck neck" problem, and understand the problems and difficulties in the process of transforming theoretical results into technical applications.
