Recently, the "Sixth National University Honor Education Summit" sponsored by Qian Xuesen Honor College of Xi'an Jiao Tong University and Education Experimental College of Northwestern Polytechnical University was held in Xi'an. Nearly two hundred experts and representatives from 54 well-known universities across the country attended the meeting. Pro Vice President, Executive Dean, Prof. He Deyan, and relevant comrades of Cuiying Honors College were invited to attend the meeting.

This summit focused on the theme of "The Mission and Future of Honor Education in the New Era" to discuss the talent training concepts, models and paths of honor colleges in the new era of development, and provide strong support for the long-term development of China's higher education.

On behalf of our school, He Deyan gave a report entitled "Cultivation of Top Students in Cuiying Honors College of Lanzhou University", introduced Cuiying Honors College’s goal, training philosophy and training results, and shared our school’s implementation and development of the "Top-notch Program" 2.0, as well as the beneficial explorations carried out in the cultivation of liberal arts and the construction of the academy system.
