CHC conducts CPR first aid method training

On March 6th, CHC invited Mou Huiqin and Hu Jingguo from Lanzhou Red Cross CPR Training Center to conduct health education CPR first aid training for students in Room A307, No. 2 Teaching Building, Yuzhong Campus.

Before the training, the students had learned the common knowledge of CPR through the online courses. In the offline practical training, the teacher first gave a detailed explanation of the theory of CPR first aid, including "how to judge the situation of a fainted injured person", "how to correctly call for help and maintain the scene order" and "how to correctly use AED and cardiopulmonary resuscitation". Resuscitation techniques” and other knowledge; next, he explained the four techniques of trauma first aid, namely hemostasis, bandaging, immobilization and handling, so that students can learn how to deal with sudden fractures, bleeding and other emergency situations correctly; finally, The teacher systematically explained the Heimlich First Aid, the emergency treatment of burns and the use of triangle belts, which further enriched the students' first aid knowledge. The students who participated in this activity have mastered the basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and rescue methods and some daily first aid methods, and passed the assessment.

Confront life, every second counts. CPR is a medical emergency technology that can win precious rescue time for the rescued when the human body stops beating heartbeat and breathing. This activity provided students with ideas and professional solutions to deal with possible medical emergencies in the future. The students who participated in the training all said that through the learning and operation of the ambulance skills, they not only mastered practical skills in life, but also a vivid health education, which made them understand the fragility and preciousness of life.
