On September 1st, CHC held agrade conference and an orientation meeting through Tencent Meeting. All students of Class 2021 and 2020, as well as some teachers attended this meeting. The meeting was hosted by the part-time counselor Wei Li and Taoyong Zhang.

At the grade conference for the students of class 2021, the counselor Zhaojun Li and the part-time counselor Wei Li asked students to try to enter the laboratory group as early as possible, actively participate in more competitions consist with their subject and scientific research trainings. They emphasized that students could improve their scientific study capabilities by attending scientific research trainings such as “National Undergraduate Training Program for Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, “the innovation project of CHC”, “ ‘Internet+’Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition”, “ ‘Challenge Cup’ National College Student Business Plan Competition”, etc.They also introduced the relevant student activities planned for this semester and the main work arrangements. They required everyone to adapt to the learning and living environment of CHC as soon as possible, actively participate in various activities, develop good study and living habits, and lay a solid foundation for the next three years of study. Wei Li said that she hoped all the students can work unremittingly in the big family of CHC, and realize their dreams.

Teacher Yanxia Du introduced the relevant policies of the college's international exchanges programs. Tianning Han, a member of the presidium of the Student Union, introduced the comprehensive quality curriculum system of CHC and the use of the student growth information system to the students of class 2021. Finally, the Youth League Committee of CHC and the various departments of the Student Union carried out presentations on recruiting new students, introduced the basic situation of the department in turn, and communicated and interacted with the freshmen.

At the 2020 grade conference, teacher Zhaojun Li made arrangements for the recent epidemic prevention and control work, reminding students to improve the quality of online learning, and at the same time, pay attention to the network safety. Don't spread and believe rumors. She also communicated with students on the academic planning and scientific research training of junior students, and answered students' doubts. The atmosphere of online interaction was enthusiastic. Teacher Taoyong Zhang, a part-time counselor of the class 2020, reminded students to keep exercising, balance their work and rest reasonably, develop good living habits, and maintain physical and mental health at all times.

In the part of safety education, Zhaojun Li introduced the scams that college students may encounter and the countermeasures they should take, focusing on the various ways of telecommunications and network fraud, reminding students to always prevent themselves from telecommunications and network fraud, improve the ability to identify and respond to emergencies, ensure property safety, and build a solid line of defense.
