In order to help students understand the basic knowledge of mental health, adjust their mental state during the epidemic prevention and control period, and promote physical and mental health, on July 12, Cuiying Honors College invited Professor Li Xiongying, director of the Psychological Counseling Center of Lanzhou University, to launch a special counseling report on "Psychological Literacy of Top-notch Innovative Talents". Nearly 100 students from Cuiying Honors College attended the report meeting, which was presided over by CPC Vice Secretary Shang Sheng.

Li Xiongying emphasized the importance of mental health to the development of individuals, families, society and the country. Starting from the overall psychological condition of the current college students, and by citing professional statistical data, he analyzed the challenges faced by the current college students and the challenges in dealing with external relationships, and summed up the main reasons for the poor psychological state of college students. Finally, based on the actual situation of the students of Cuiying Honors College and the current epidemic prevention and control work, he provided professional psychological counseling to the students. In response to the problems that the students may encounter, he suggested that the students should be comprehensive in moral, intellectual, physical, and artistic work to actively participate in learning and scientific research with a healthy psychological state, and contribute to the development of national basic disciplines.
