Recently, Cuiying Honors College held the 2021 Cuiying Student Innovation Project Approval and Closing Defense Conference in Xinglin Building of the Medical School District and Guanyun Building of Chengguan Campus.

On December 2nd, 15 experts from mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and humanities served as judges during the review of the project defense. A total of 92 students from the 2019 and 2020 grades participated in this project defense. At the defense meetings of various subjects, the students showed their project overview, innovation points, goals, plans and methods, and answered questions from the judges. In view of the existing problems of the project, the teachers put forward suggestions for improvement from various angles. After expert review, a total of 92 "Cuiying Student Innovation Projects" were approved this year.

15 professors and associate professors in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, philosophy and other disciplines will serve as the final defense review. A total of 76 students from Cuiying Honors College of 2018 and 2019 participated in this final defense. The students reported and displayed their progress and achievements in the Cuiying Innovation Fund project in the past year. The judges and teachers made comments on the spot and put forward specific opinions and suggestions on the students' research. Finally, after expert review, a total of 76 "Cuiying Student Innovation Projects" were successfully concluded this year.
