Recently, a meeting on physics major of the 2021 "China’s Top-Notch Undergraduate Training Program 2.0" was held in Xi'an, hosted by the School of Physics of Xi'An JiaoTong University. Wang Jianbo, Vice Dean of School of Physical Science and Technology, and Wang Yongren, Vice Dean of Cuiying Honors College, attended the meeting.

21 universities of physical top-notch program and 17 observing universities attended the meeting. The representatives exchanged and interacted with each other about the construction mode and path of the academy system, the implementation and improvement of the mentoring system, and the construction of the curriculum system under the base, which provided an important reference for our college to further promote the new cultivation mode.

On behalf of our university, Wang Jianbo, gave a presentation entitled "Exploration of Lanzhou University's Physics Top-notch Program 2.0". He introduced the orientation of Lanzhou University's top-notch students, the cultivation model and the curriculum system of the Physics Cuiying Class, and shared the useful exploration of the "Physics Cuiying Class 2+2" model and classified cultivation of Physics Majors.
