On March 6, Cuiying Honors College invited Mou Huiqin and Hu Jingguo, teachers of the Lanzhou Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Center, to conduct health education on cardiopulmonary resuscitation first aid methods for students in the A307 classroom of the second teaching building in Yuzhong Campus.
Before the training, the students had learned about CPR through online courses. In the offline practical training, the teacher first explained the theory of CPR first aid in detail, including "How to judge the situation of the fainted victim", "How to call for help correctly and maintain the order on the scene", and "How to use AED and CPR technology correctly"; Next, the four techniques of trauma first aid, namely hemostasis, bandaging, fixation and transportation, were introduced to help students learn how to deal with emergencies such as sudden fractures and bleeding correctly; Finally, the teacher systematically explained the Heimlich first aid method, the emergency treatment of burns and scalds, and the use of triangular belts, which further enriched the students' first aid knowledge. The students who participated in this activity have mastered the basic CPR rescue essentials and some daily first aid methods, and passed the examination.
