The final of the 17th National College Mathematics Competition took place at Sichuan University from April 17 to 19. After fierce competition, all four finalists from Cuiying Honors College won awards. Qi Yongkang from the 2024 Mathematics Class claimed the First Prize; Zhao Qihui and Li Haoming from the 2023 MathematicsClass won the Second Prize; Wei Liangrui from the 2023 MathematicsClass received the Third Prize.

Moving forward, Cuiying Honors College will continue to focus on the independent training of top talents in basic disciplines. Upholding the spirit of scientists, the College will advance programs to enhance students’ academic literacy and innovative capacity, cooperate with disciplinary schools to build research training platforms, and further improve support and incentive mechanisms. It will encourage more outstanding students to take part in high-level academic competitions and strive for new accomplishments.
