Against the backdrop of building a healthy China, the dissemination of first aid knowledge appears particularly crucial. On April 13th, Cuiying Honors College, in collaboration with the Yuzhong County Red Cross Society, organized a CPR training and practice session aimed at enhancing college students' abilities to respond to emergencies through self-rescue and mutual aid, thereby fostering a safe and harmonious campus environment.

The training included a variety of rich content and formats, including theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and simulated assessments. During the theoretical lectures, professional teachers from the Red Cross vividly explained the basic principles, procedures, and precautions of CPR through vivid cases. In the practical exercises, students were divided into groups to practice CPR operations. Under the guidance of professional teachers and assistants, they carefully observed, operated, and gradually mastered the basic skills of CPR and the correct use of AEDs. Teachers also provided timely corrections and guidance for any problems encountered during the operation, ensuring that each student could proficiently master CPR skills. The simulated assessment was particularly intense and exciting. Students had to complete CPR operations within a specified time and undergo strict assessments by professional teachers. Those who passed the assessment would receive CPR training certificates, becoming first aid experts on campus.

The successful hosting of this training not only enhanced students' abilities to respond to emergencies through self-rescue and mutual aid but also provided strong assurance for campus safety, promoting the concept of cherishing life and valuing health. In the future, the college will continue to strengthen the dissemination and training of first aid knowledge, enabling more teachers and students to master first aid skills, thus laying a solid foundation for building a safe and harmonious campus environment.
