On the afternoon of October 14, 2025, Professor Liu Xingrong delivered a guidance lecture on academic ethics and thesis writing to students of Cuiying Honors College at Yuzhong Campus of Lanzhou University.This lecture was presided over by Vice Dean Wang Yongren.

In this lecture, Professor Liu Xingrong interpreted the national supporting role of education, science,technology and talents, and quoted important expositions to emphasize the significance of education. Professor Liu emphasized that 'the prosperity of education leads to the prosperity of the country, and the strength of education leads to the strength of the country', it is pointed out that building a strong education country is an important support for achieving high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement.

The highly instructive lecture clarified academic norms and deepened students' understanding of academic ethics, inspiring them to uphold principles and pursue rigorous research and thesis writing.
