At 23:59 on December 18, Beijing time, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, causing casualties and property losses. Some areas were severely affected, and the Yuzhong Campus had obvious tremors. To further do a good job in the ideological dynamics and daily management and education of students after the earthquake,On the evening of December 19, teachers from the Student Affairs Group of Cuiying Honors College visited the student dormitories to timely understand the students' learning, life and psychological status.
During the visit, the teachers shared some experiences about first aid and dormitory life, discussed extracurricular reading books with the students, and communicated with the students on daily life, dormitory safety and hygiene, learning situations, and other aspects, helping the students to better adapt to the dormitory life and safety.
Cuiying Honors College has always attached great importance to the "Three Walks Into" work, or “Three Approaches to Student Development”, regularly visiting dormitories and exchanging with students. This visit not only enhanced the emotional bond between teachers and students but also improved the students' awareness of safety, laying a good foundation for the orderly and smooth development of the college's subsequent work.
